Laser Liposuction
An alternative to traditional liposuction, laser liposuction can provide the benefits of both excess fat elimination and skin tightening. Laser liposuction utilizes highly-focused energy wavelengths to reduce the appearance of stubborn pockets of fat for a firmer, more contoured appearance. As added benefits, laser liposuction can also minimize your recovery time and any post-procedural bruising. This standard liposuction alternative can be ideal for patients who are at or near their ideal weight and seeking to treat a relatively small area of excess fat on the body, including regions along the:
- Neck
- Arms
- Inner thighs
- Abdomen
During this procedure, Dr. Cook will first make an extremely small incision at the target site before utilizing a fiber optic laser to target and eliminate excess fat cells. Patients typically experience minor bruising and swelling, and the recovery from laser liposuction usually lasts one to two days, depending on the extent of treatment.
Laser Skin Resurfacing
Laser skin resurfacing, or laser peels, can be used to treat a wide range of skin conditions including:
